- "Accretion"- Nonlinear dynamics of accretion flows in binary star systems - in the cooperation with the Institute of Astronomy at the Russian Academy of Sciences /.doc /
Main goal of the project: Nonlinear dynamics of accretion flows in binary star systems:
Numerical modeling of accretion flows in Close binaries: applying to 3 dimensional gas dynamics and 3D distribution of physical quantities in close binaries with magnetic fields;
Examination of magnetic flow influence on the accretion processes in Close binary stars. This includes: effects of magnetic flow of accretion surface on the flow's structure; influence of magnetic axis inclination; effects of accretor's rotation.
Observations of close binary star systems with magnetic field and their analysis by the Doppler Tomography methods.
